The MCHH crew comment on a National Geographic article that says they have the first underwater video footage of the Type D Orca. The article makes it sound that this ecotype of Orca is fairly new. The MCHH crew (3 of them being Marine Mammal Scientists) are here to set the record straight.
The crew is excited that the "discovery team" were able to get a tissue sample from one of the Orcas so they could do DNA Analysis.
